I'm not sure how to word this but...

Have you ever had a retrospective game of the year? Ever played a (personal) Game of the Year after its year? Two of mine last generation were Assassin's Creed II and Red Dead Redemption. I played both of them in 2011 (didn't complete the latter until two years later). But both were the best games of their respective years, in my opinion. I can't remember what I played that released in 2009 beyond Guitar Hero 5 and ODST (oh, Left 4 Dead 2...), but ACII was the tops. Same goes for 2010. Not a lot of highlights besides lolreach and Super Meat Boy, but RDR was a cracker. What about you guys?

  • Playing Vampire the masquerade bloodlines. Added an unofficial 1gb patch, some texture mods and did a hex edit on dll to allow 21:9..and the game is as much fun playing now on ultrawide (and looks pretty decent too). Had last played the game over 10 years back...is a fun experience trying to remember stuff now while enjoying the awesome voice acting and story.
