I think they need to undo the range nerf. It was unnecessary to whittle it down even further. Most competitive and non-competitive players were hardly worried about its return. It was going to be as meta as any other Eyasluna or Last Word in the current Crucible hierarchy, but it didn't have the potency of Year One. When they nerfed the range, they knocked it out of the competitive meta entirely except as an eyesore. I expected it to be nearly as viable as The Last Word, perhaps slightly worse. Right now it's just flat worse, more of a novelty. It's not a terrible weapon. But the range feels incredibly inconsistent. Might just be the matchmaking connections I've been getting. Some games go great, others the gun just refuses to land even for a body shot.
