Now that there are private and custom matches will you guys be playing schweats or use it for playing with your friends do you think people will get medals such as seventh column that they dont deserve or we ran out of medals? what do you guys think

It's pretty sad that the community's standards are so low that they get excited over a basic feature which every other multiplayer game has had when it launched. We praised the half assed ttk king story line at first because it had some of the basic features that all other games have, it's pathetic to call it a storyline at all. It feels like bungo wants to see how little they can put into this franchise and get away with before we had enough as a community and try to fix the game. I'm not excited at all for rise of iron and dangling stupid little ornaments to the community as a feature when there are so many problems with this game like pvp connections. I have never had connection issues like this since gears of war 1. I really wanted this game to be good but the future looks bleak.

only took them 2 years to add a feature that is standard in pretty much every FPS with multiplayer.

My only concern will be rewards. While private matchmaking is a great thing, I'm very concerned about any abuse that will happen to it because of players spamming games just get loot. They need to tread very carefully here. In my opinion, no private match should grant rewards other than bragging rights.

Just another mode that will be broke. I can not understand why they want to add another mode until they can maintain the PVP game now.

Private matches IMO are a step in the right direction. Now a few other things need to be addressed: 1. Elemental Primaries need to return, and they need to be implemented the right way. Make elemental cores we can infuse into our favorite kinetic weapons. Variety, Diversity, AND allowance of something we all enjoyed in Y1! 2. With elemental primary's return, there is absolutely ZERO reason to leave Y1 gear behind. You are bringing Y2 gear forward to Y3, so any of the arguments about it not being fun to use the same guns for 10+ years obviously no longer applies. The argument that they break crucible NEVER made sense because crucible is the only place you CAN use them. So just bring everything from Y1 forward with Y2 gear into Y3. This will gain Bungie back a LOT of players they lost from Y1 - guaranteed! 3. Game Balance. Stop fiddling with it so drastically. Stop the wild buff/nerf cycles and just let things settle in. Balance is at a decent place right now. I would like to see some skills rebuffed (throwing knife and tripmine grenade, maybe DoT on Sunsinger/Thorn now that they have an artifact that reduces it, etc., Sunbreaker's Armor in PVP/PVE - yes, in both phases - so long as they can still be OHK by another super.) There WILL be some fine-tunes needed, but if something was unchanged for 2 years, it doesn't suddenly become OP overnight. It's only OP because an effective counter was removed through nerfs. 4. OPT-IN matchmaking for all things. Yes, MM should be an option for all things, but we should also have the ability to choose not to use it if we don't want to. These are just a few of my major concerns/desires for RoI.

Top Destiny streamers will rarely use private matches because their whole premise is lighthouse carries. Maybe for yuks and lols we'll see some streamers take each other on for bragging rights, but thats about it.

Lol. A dream come true? A feature that should have always been there? I'm not salty. I'm just saying lets not dote all over these developers for doing what they were suppossed to have already done. At most, a sarcastic "welcome to 2016" is deserved. It's possible that you suffer from Stockholm Syndrome.

First of all I am not defending anything I will just point out how gaming community is so pathetic rn. Early beta times in the division where game was fun. There wasnt spectator mode when you die and it was so annoying to just sit there with a white screen. When the game launched, they forgot to add that. Community asked for it, they added it in the next patch and Guess what? People said this: "Lol every game has spectator mode you think you accomplished something?". Yea its not special to destiny every game have this issue because of the current gaming community being selfish. Other than that this is an awesome Improvement to the game. Its shame that I will not play it this year because of my university exams but after that I am looking forward to play this expansion. It is as big as taken king and it looks great. Anyways guardians have fun playing this expansion. I hope you like it and dont forget to use the thorn! :D
