Best way to Glimmer farm???
What is the best way to Glimmer farm? I need to quickest way to cap out 25,000 Glimmer.
I was high yesterday and thought for some reason I wanted to reforge my Matador for Kneepads, and didn't get lucky at all.

Don't listen to the Grinders. Patrol Bounties give you 250-500 Glimmer per completion and you can get even more stuff. Engrams, Consumables, and completed Tower Bounties right off the top of my head

VOG Atheon's room, kill adds, jump off edge before killing gatekeeper, rinse repeat (using a consumable of course.)

Set checkpoint at heart of darkness mission, I forgot name, run blue polyphage and get axiomatic beads too

VoG is the best if you're with at least one other player. Otherwise Exclusion Zone with a rocket launcher and nova bomb with Obsidian nets you about 500 glimmer every 30 seconds.

2 RepliesI saw two Guardians outside a cave on the dreadnought when the enemies move against each other. They looked like they were in a disco there were so many orbs lying on the ground. In sure they cranked glimmer.

Prison of elders. Pop a glimmer thing each round for the corresponding enemy.

Taken Poe 41 if you have a team that will reload until it is taken

Solo crota on hard turn the shards and energy into glimmer which gives me nearly 10k glimmer if you got all the chest and what not.

Alchemists rainments for warlock. I got max glimmer form about 9k in about an hour and a half on patrol

4 RepliesEdited by Lev: 8/14/2016 11:05:13 PMJust do patrol missions in cosmodrone. 500 glimmer for VIP missions, 250-300 glimmer for other ones, plus pop a consumable for fallen and hive that you kill while patrolling. Since taken king, glimmer drops from consumables alone are capped out. If you earn too much, too fast (like with exclusion zone farming) glimmer will stop dropping even with a consumable active. Doing patrol missions negates this.

I like to go to the cosmodrome and do VIPs and other bounties while collecting chests. Maybe it isn't the fastest but VIPs give you 500 glimmer each. I only like the cosmodrome because VIPs seem to be more plentiful. Mars isn't bad either. The other planets require you to travel to far inside buildings. Otherwise the exclusion zone method works pretty good.

Just do the little missions on the planets, 250 glimmer for 1-2 mins work.. Then just go to another part or just return to orbit and repeat.. Mix this with the various extra glimmer for certain enemies and your laughing.

5 RepliesBest way to glimmer farm in my opinion is also the best way to farm exotics. You can do both at once. The mission where you kill draksis (winter kell) Get to the throne room on the ketch, and kill all enemies in the room, leaving draksis for last. Make sure you use ether seeds. Get draksis low, low enough to use a rocket launcher on him and yourself. When you both die you start the room over right after that. Even if you don't get many exotics, he drops house banners all over the place. With the house banners and ether seeds this is the best spot to farm glimmer in my opinion.

1st cp in the Atheon in VOG. Just drop a blue thingy, and go kill all the majors and wipe.

Exclusion zone is quick way to get some glimmer and using resupply codes. The Dark Beyond gives you a shit ton of thralls and couple majors to kill and using black wax idols. Killing the majors in the gatekeeper part before facing atheon in Vault of Glass back in Y1 Completing boss patrol mission (500-1000 glimmer if i remember correctly) Doing the old 3 of coin farm on the winter kell gives a good amount of those house banners (250 each) Dismantling weapons/armor gives you a very small amount of glimmer Visiting variks every tuesday (1000 per character) Completing the 3 steps crota bane (step 1: 200, step 2: 500, step 3: 750) That's all i can think of...

I always used to farm the Gatekeeper on VoG, loads of Vex spawn at you and even Yellow bars, Pop a glimmer boost and you'll make 25k in no time
