Come feel incredibly insignificant with me
-
Well, that's depressing
-
At least we aren't atoms. Then we'd be really, really damn small.
-
I feel you man

I traded $200 worth of underwear to own that planet.

Nihilism or Bohemian Rhapsody?
-
Living on a dying planet that will eventually be consumed by our sun, the eventual collision of our galaxy and andromeda, the universe either compacting and creating the big crunch and starting over or everything drifting to far apart to the heat death. But let's live in the moment and thank our lucky stars that we don't have to have the death of the universe on our minds cause that's eons away.
-
Nihilism. Join the club Or don't. It doesn't matter anyway
-
And our whole galaxy is a tiny spec, if that, in the universe. I thought about this too much once and sat in my room having a break down.
-
I remember seeing this on a field trip to the high schools planetarium.

Praise be our insignificant, meaningless lives

Yeah, and look how small a quark or a neutrino is compared to us. Perspective is everything.

Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?

The earth goes around the sun at 107,000km/h (66,000 miles per hour). The sun, the earth and the rest of the solar system orbit the center of the Milky Way galaxy at an estimated 792,000km/h (483,000 miles per hour). Relative to cosmic background radiation, our Galaxy itself appears to be moving at a speed of 2.1 million km/h (1.3 million miles) in the direction of Leo and Virgo. It's this motion I find mind-boggling. G'night.

Good! Less responsibilities.
-
I love the smell of insignificance in the morning!
-
No Man's Sky looks great.
-
Nothing matters, nothing has or will. That fact also doesn't matter. Have fun and make people happy
-
Yet we are made of space.

I matter

We're just specks of dust floating in space
