Sleeper Simulant vs. Patience and Time
Ok, which should I use for both PvE and PvP? If I used Sleeper, my special would be 1KYS. If I used P&T, my heavy would be a cluster bomb rocket launcher. Which should I use?

Well they're both fantastic weapons. If I had to choose I don't think I could. P&T is a wonderful sniper especially if you're the revive bitch warlock. Sleeper has great burst damage and if you're lucky can clear a room damn quick.[spoiler]both 10/10 snipers though[/spoiler]

You have 9 slots in your inventory per weapon systems. Carry both. The Sleeper is really good for Ultras and Bosses and makes short work of them. Using it any where else is not going to be as effective, but it is fun to get three kills after the Heavy drops in Crucible. Your inventory is a tool box, stack with the right tools. All told, 30 weapons available to you is quite a bit in the way of options

5 RepliesWhat subclass do you prefer on your Lock? Patience and Time can get you out of hairy situations and has an ammo perk. Can't beat that with recent sniper mag nerfs. The invis is nice as well considering Warlocks otherwise need a Hunter smoke capsule to utilize invis. You have to ADS to keep the invis up, though. Arc is a very common shield type, and the gun itself hits hard enough. It isn't a high impact sniper, but it definitely isn't a low impact either. Sleeper is okay for bosses but I wouldn't main that as my heavy. I rarely even use mine honestly. I prefer my Raze Lighter, and that doesn't hit as hard as Sleeper. Just personal I guess hah.

I like sleeper when I am run out on ammo special or no special ammo drops. I use back up sleeper when I kill orges from Oyrx cp.

3 Replies... so, why is there a 'one or the other' choice here? P&T is really good in crucible, and if you favor rockets in crucible then use that build for PvP. Sleeper melts bosses and yellow bars, and 1k stare is great in all modes. Especially with good rolls like Triple Tap. Use that for PvE. Or change them out regularly and try them in both. That's what I did recently. Started using builds and weapons I never would have. Lately I've been challenging myself to No Land Beyond in crucible (not going well at the moment lol), and I've been gathering the right rolls to solo Oryx and stuff like that.

Sleeper is my go to in pve its always useful. For the p&t ehhh not really good for much you don't need invisibility... PvP wise I'd say your rocket and 1k are more useful I've messed around with the sleeper just for fun but it's not great

I love using patience and time it flips people out when you suddenly turn invisible and you aren't a hunter
