Contacting Destiny Servers/IB Lag
Have not had one single game of all green bars since yesterday, constantly contacting Destiny servers, what is the problem now?
It's been two years and this is still happening, why? Stop matching me with people in Brazil and keep it NA to NA, maybe to start?
I've got two hours I'm going to put into trying to enjoy this but if it's still red bars and invisible supers you're clown shoes for thinking I'll play like this.
*EDIT - Iron Banner is still a lagged out disaster two days later, blogs are screaming how bad it is, reddit thinks it sucks and yet Bungie and the Destiny still can't fix it or maybe they just don't know how.
If you do not fix the constant lag issue after rise of iron, a brand new expansion you are going to ask money for, I won't buy it and others should do the same and boycott this constant bad programming.
Speak with your money and don't keep funding this failure and hype hype hype that ends up in the same game we still can't play.

I have a pretty fast internet connection and never have any issues with gaming or streaming. However, I receive contacting destiny server messages as soon as I log in the game.

What should happen at this point, and there are enough players to do this, split up pvp, or at least Iron Banner. Let the green bars play the green bars and let the red bars play the red bars. Problem solved. That was supposed to be CBMM, but that didn't happen.

Same here. Have a game set up after work, can't connect to Destiny servers. Apparently it's my network and nothing to do with Bungie. Just strange how every other freaking thing connected and every other game works. I'll keep looking, since I truly trust the error code.

End the lag. Buy servers. Stop being cheap. Perma ban cheaters

Feeling one hit and dying, headshot for days with my sniper and players run away and die 2 seconds after they kill me. Absolutely frustrating when you see a red bar with 20 some kills and tea bagging everyone.

1 ReplySame last night for me too. Kept getting stuck against people that didn't seem to take damage from anything. I'm hardwired with a very fast connection and low ping so I know it's not my internet. I was expecting that with the maintenance before IB start that it would be reasonably smooth.

I've found I have less issues when I'm running solo. When I'm with a fireteam, the lag intensifies. Maybe the fireteam leads connection sucked...could be the case.

Which is okay for me. When I can expel 4 rds from a shotgun into someone's face, without them taking damage, I just smile and move on. I imagine for every few kills that don't register, I get away with one or two on the opponents screen as well. Just play and have fun. I don't expect to win too much - because there is far too much out of my control.
