Ideas for Player-created Content

Hey Guardians, Destiny is a game built for constantly-updated and more content. Bungie has given us Forge in previous Halo games before, so why can't they do the same for Destiny? Maybe even go further than just Forge? These are some ideas I had that Bungie could implement in the game or in Destiny 2 that would allow for Player-created content in the game. Crucible: Using a map creator tool, players could create their own maps for the game or edit existing ones. These maps could be played in custom matches or shared with other players. Players could also submit these maps to Bungie for implementation in online map rotation. Map creation would allow for fresh content for parties looking to play a private match or faster creation of Crucible maps for Bungie to implement in rotation. PvE Story Variants: Players would be able to edit existing Story missions by changing the landscape in private zones and altering the enemies and objectives. These variants could be shared with other players. Completing a Story variant will reward a randomly-generated piece of gear that's appropriate for the mission's length and difficulty. Story variants can only be completed once per day for the rewards. Strike Variants: Players would be able to edit existing Strike missions by changing the landscape in private zones and altering the enemies, objectives, and the boss/bosses. These variants could be shared with other players. Completing a Strike variant will reward a randomly-generated piece of gear that's appropriate for the Strike's length and difficulty. Strike variants can only be completed once per week for the rewards. Operations: Operations are missions entirely created by the player. Players can create locations, scripting, objectives, and more in an Operation. Operations can be played in private by yourself or up to 6 Guardians, and can be shared with other players. After creating an Operation, the game automatically determines the complexity and difficulty of the mission and gives reward options based on that. The player than chooses from a list of reward options for completing the Operation. The same Operation can only be completed weekly for the rewards.
