Is the Division worth playing again?
So I enjoyed the division up to update 1.1 and then quit like a lot of people did.
But since then, ive heard they fixed alot and 1.2 really improved the game
So is it worth playing again? Please avoid bias answers if you can
Edit: Played it again last night with a few friends. Had a real fun time.

I've been playing the division for 3 months it's getting better and better over time specially since I cannot download destiny's April update it keeps giving me cannot download! So I gave up on destiny, while the division updates are super smooth!

I definetly enjoying it. Play it daily. I primarily run solo DZ but so much fun with friends to. 8 man gank squads are present but I haven't seen them often. Probably 3 times from the past 30 days. And even then, I just happen to be with my own team so they were easy to take down. Most 8 man squads are pretty bad, hence why the group up in 8. I have a video up on playstation live of my friend and i, 2 v 8. It was awesome lol. Drops have been improved drastically. Crafting has been rendered irrelevant besides making weapons. Shock turrets still need a bit of tweaking since they require no skill power, but still stun and cuts off ppls ability. People complaining about balance just haven't maximized their gear yet. 228 gear score is meaningless if your build sucks. I haven't seen any over used weapons. Sniper/explosive combo was over powered before the last patch, but because you can throw on last measure 2 piece, you basically reduce almost all explosive dmg.

I think it has really improved with the new gear sets and better drops. The high value target thing is pretty fun and it is nice that there is more than one way to go rogue in the DZ now. I played the new incursion with some randoms yesterday and we beat it and we had a lot of fun. There weren't any glitches or bugs either

More drops npcs are tougher in dark zone same amount of 4-8 man grief squads in dz everywhere if you disliked it before you won't ever the game is still the same at its core

Short answer yes, GS are dropping like crazy so maybe. I have come to the personal conclusion that these types of games just don't do it for me. Destiny, The Division, etc. They cut content or just plain have very light content and "force" you to keep playing the same shit for a piece of gear. This isn't a new revelation but I had a turning point about two hours into TTK and saw how pointless it all was. I just finished playing AC Black Flag and The Last of Us and while I probably wouldn't go back and play them again I at least enjoyed most of ever minute playing the game. The same cannot be said for the division. So yes if you dug the mechanics of the game and enjoy loot based shooters, now is the time to come back. There is loot good loot dropping from almost every activity.

Honestly, I've been trying to get into it again since they released High-Valued Targets. I'm sitting at a low Gear Level so I need to improve.

I like it again. I spread my time between division and destiny and whatever offline game I'm currently on. Batman right now. The new HVT are entertaining for now and the dz is a little better. Sidenote: I walked by this bench with a bomb on it and it exploded. "-blam!- this bench right here" and started shooting it. Realized the boards actually break and I spent 10 min breaking benches. Lol yep

Yes, it's pretty fun in short sporadic bursts. I can't grind it every day like Destiny, but I enjoy hopping on 3 or 4 times every few weeks to do some incursions.

Exploiting is no longer a thing, people that did exploit can't pub stomp you anymore, loot system is totally fixed, and they added more ways to get best-in-slot gear. After perusing the comments, I found 16 people that said yes, 1 person with a reasonable answer that said no, and 1 Desticle with no reason whatsoever to hate on the game. Small sample size, but it should tell you something.

High Value Targets alone makes it worth it. Plus you'll get a lot good gear more often.

3 RepliesI played tonight for the first time since the 1st of April - went from 146 to 200+ thanks to a patient friend, some dailies, and a high value target. And I enjoyed myself.

Just make sure with the upper level daily HVT's to have at least one or two other people with you, it can be a bit of a challenge solo, because if you die, (or your whole team dies) you have to re start it. The first couple lower HVT, you should be able to solo.
