Saying stats mean nothing is very ignorant. Why is it that teams with higher elos tend to beat teams with lower elos? Why is it that streamers with high k.d.s tend to beat non streamers with average k.d.s? Stop ignoring the facts. K.d. and Elo are relevant numbers that do matter. It isn't a guarantee that a team with higher stats will win but it is a strong indicator they will. Here's a real world example: Tom Brady has a higher overall passer rating than Jay Cutler- he also has more championship rings. If K.D. didn't matter it wouldn't be quantified and talked about as much as it is.

i just want to point out that, typically, people with high stats actually care about their stats. as in they play to protect them. they don't play for the team win, only their own. people with lower stats will generally be playing for "fun". they don't really care how many times they die or if they win or not. so its all subjective, either way. but in the end, there are just too many variables that are out of players' control to take stats seriously. not trying to start any epic debate, just putting some perspective on things.

this is the point I'm making here!

I like the points that you make. They actually make sense. I also have to admit of being guilty of protecting/boosting my stats.

I never really cared about my stats, but I do usually do very well, I'm sure if I reset a character and went try hard my stats would be very different but the only place stats matter are lfg when you're lookin for a trials team so who gives a shit
