Y tho? I think it's important that the best gear requires you to interact with the gaming community through Raids or Crucible. This would make it so anyone could just gear up. I'd rather see them invest in making year 1 stuff relevant again. Why not change the HM raid for VoG and Crota to 310+ and upgrade the gear? They already have a lot of content that basically goes unplayed now.

I see your points. However, as much as I would like more group based activities, I think there are almost no routes for the solo player, costing bungie a lot of players. Also, about the year 1 stuff: why not have these story missions drop taken year 1 weapons?

I could see your gear drop idea. That'd be cool. But i question if they are actually losing anyone. You have to be connected to the Internet to use a ps4 or xbox1 so that really shouldn't be a problem. I think maybe the answer would be to add matchmaking for raids.
