What's your favourite topic in history to study?

My fav is probably the Industrial Revolution or WW2 through the Cold War but it's just me. What about y'all, what do y'all like? Let's discuss, post what you like and if I have any knowledge we can discuss it. ^-*

  • Wars and generals: Hannibal of Carthage, Patton, Three Kingdoms, China's Unification War, Sengoku Era...even the Cold War, which was more about fear. Ironically, as much as it interests me, it disgusts me too. It's also a history of mans inhumanity to his fellow man: propaganda, ego, and increasingly more effective ways to kill with increased body counts to reflect them. I like origins, cultures, and curiosities too: like the founding of London, the people who inhabited Britain, their rituals and why they did them. Pagan sites in America, Mexican pyramids as far up as Minnesota, steps under the Japan Sea. I like seeing how different cultures influenced others.
