What's your favourite topic in history to study?

My fav is probably the Industrial Revolution or WW2 through the Cold War but it's just me. What about y'all, what do y'all like? Let's discuss, post what you like and if I have any knowledge we can discuss it. ^-*

  • The drunk German/Austrian physics of the early 20th century never fail to amaze me. Pictured above (color is photoshopped) are the brains behind the modern world as we have it today. Absolutely astonishing what these people accomplished for science. 19 of them received Nobel Prizes. I wish people like Emmy Noether, Annie Jump Cannon, and Cecilia Payne could have made it in the photo. STEM fields have a serious lack of females in them, and so it may surprise someone to learn that the foundation for modern astrophysics was actually built by female scientists.
