No. Ashen One is an Unkindled, and the Unkindled are Undead who failed in their attempt to become a Lord of Cinder. So the ashen one lost in the first place, wherein the Chosen Undead won. Plus the Chosen Undead defeated the ORIGINAL LORDS. Ashen One only killed the generations upon generations old "lords"

So? It only gives them power, and besides, the cycle will continue none the less. It's essentially the same as the Dark Lord ending, becoming the leader over all that is during the Age of Dark.

The Ashen One is STRONG enough to HOUSE the Flame in HIS OR HER BODY.

That makes them a Lord..... Which the Chosen Undead defeated. It's not the First Flame in its majesty. Notice how in dark souls 1 the flame explodes with the power of the Chosen Undead's soul? In dark souls 3 it simply just keeps burning.
