infusion anomaly
I just infused an Imprecation with a 306 blue pulse rifle, and it ended up at 292, not 306. (If it matters, the Imprecation was received prior to the recent big patch that changed infusion, but then so were all of my other weapons which behave correctly.)

Nah Imprecation does that. If it's 292 though then you should click the perk that gets unlocked after 260 or 280 light and you should complete that part of the quest. If you really want it to be a high light level then just keep infusing. Keep in mind that once you click on the perk, you can't infuse it anymore. [spoiler]btw, First Curse is awesome.
