What if somehow through the Vault of Glass, while it exists in a time of its own and lives through other timelines, those timelines could be manipulated to visit a time outside of the Vault of Glass? What if we could go back to the Golden Age and warn them of the collapse and the darkness? No doubt the Vex would figure it out and maybe even already knew that we would arrive by being warned in another string of complex timelines leading to this? This may not seem very lore-friendly to some as I am not sure this fits or not. But in the grand scheme of things, it could be possible, but most likely only once. If we could visit the time before the collapse, it would answer many questions that would have been left unanswered, as well as providing as well as receiving support from others. Plus, we would have access to the most advanced technology during the Golden Age, and with that, millions of possibilities arise. What do you think? Any problems with this idea lore-wise?
