Two things, first:
I have a humane way. It's called literacy
Second, "Justice delivered without dispassion is always in danger of not being justice."- Oswaldo Mobray, The Hateful Eight
-
Why should anyone be humane at all?
-
It is one's decision to be or to not be humane, and it is everyone else's decision to respond humanely or inhumanely.
-
On the off chance that there is a mistake, and they are innocent. That's why we don't have execution at all here in the UK, amongst over reasons.
-
Because only a scumbag would prolong the suffering of another in such a manner?
-
Sending someone to jail causes suffering. Therefore the justice system is run by scumbags.
So, what you are saying to is to not punish criminals because we would be scumbags for it?
-
Some in the justice system is most likely scumbags. Also that's not what i meant, and you know it.
muted for twisting my words and being thick as a brick.
-
I'm simply saying we are prolonging a criminal's suffering by sending them to jail, therefore the justice system is "scumbaggy".
-
You know what? Shut up. Your backwards thinking is why a guy in Sweden or something tried to sue the government because being in solitary confinement caused him social pain.
-
I was played devil's advocate.
-
Oh, okay. That's fine then.
-
Solitary confinement is considered torture by the UN and Sweden does not partake in it. It would have to be a different country.
-
Not literal solitary confinement. But more of just being by himself in his 3 room cell and TV's after killing like 80 people.
-
Well then it isn't solitary confinement if he is with other prisoners and whatnot
