I think
they should have a simple highest light level that is much easier to reach. Let me know what you think
Edit: "easier" was not the right word. I should have said that there should be base damage and/or attack for certain activities and it should not be scattered in a certain range.

Year two is the better system in terms of a progression to max lightlevel but it's still not perfect. I would much prefer to play the double RNG game then the unfair forever 29 and add on top guaranteed ways to get max light gear it's the clear winner. The smoother climb through lightlevels is a much better system then the massive damage and survivability spikes we had in year one. The only problem with year two system is that they added weapons into the lightlevel. Players are limited in what loadouts they can use as lower levelled weapons would pull the whole lightlevel down. I think not being able to try, test or mess about with weapons unless you have infused it up to a useable lightlevel is really bad for Destiny. They may of implemented this to stop everyone still using overpowered year one weapons, but moving forward I think it needs to change. So current system but without weapons being included in lightlevel would be my vote.

315-320 you gain no additional damage, just health.

Edited by DJOEL914: 3/2/2016 5:36:20 PMI liked HoW max light feature. With it I and many other weekly raiders and grinders would've reached max light by now. Also they could then actually make challenge mode more of a achievement/challenge rather than do it just for high level gear to infuse.

Ttk light level system is the best level up style they could've used just wish rng wasn't such a pain in the ass but this is definitely the way to go
-
Call me a fool but i prefered the old way of getting higher level, raid with the max light gear endgame pvp with max light gear too and ...oh yes, elemental primaries
-
What was the point of introducing HoW's fantastic systems just to snatch them from us? Then they replace it with something worse than vanilla. Smh.
-
Not to hate but you have a small grimoire and medal score and your characters are only around 300. To me it seems like you just want an easy to the max.
-
I don't care how they do it, but double RNG is some bullshit
-
Rather chase after OP weapons I may never get then go after light level I may never get
-
The easier you make it, the less replay value the game has.
-
If it were easy to reach then there'd be no reason to play.
-
I want it the way house of wolves did it.
-
Remove light from ghost, class items and artifacts and then it'll be perfect
-
Why make it easier to reach? That would leave even less incentive to play endgame content. Not being argumentative, I would really like to know why you want to make it easy to reach the highest light level.
