Arminius-D is like the Doctrine of Passing.

Edited by lx Bizzle: 2/24/2016 9:00:13 PMGunsmith has this package up this week got my order in......... Already have the Arminius-D on my Hunter but I'm looking for a better roll Edit mine has persistence smallbore partial refund snapshot hand loaded but im chasing one with counterbalance cause the sight moves in all directions when firing
-
The only difference is that the arminius d has range of : 13 and the dop has :13 Ans the arminius has reload of 76 and the dop has 78
-
You have to have the right roll.
-
So basically most people are trying to find An Arminius D like the one on my warlock?
-
Edited by NegaNate: 2/21/2016 7:53:31 PMArminius has both vertical and horizontal recoil pattern. Doctrine only has a slight vertical recoil pattern. They are very close when having the same perks, but the Doctrine will always have the advantage. Plus the Doctrine perk tree is far smaller, and all are good.
-
Doesn't have counterbalance. That makes an enormous difference. If doctrine didn't have counterbalance it would be a lot more tolerable tbh.
-
They're both pretty much the same, I prefer the sights and general look/sound of the Arminus, though.
-
Arminius d is a cheap mans version of doctrine
-
Comes down to this, Doctrine can get Persistence and Counterbalance, while the gunsmith makes you chose between one or another since they fall in the same column
-
Problem is, Hakke weapons have a serious pull to the left, pretty much forcing you to have counterbalance to make it viable.
-
Arminius-D is similar in RoF and impact. The difference is that DoP has a smaller perk pool and therefore gets stability perks more consistently than Arminius-D. I don't have a DoP yet so I can't do a side-by-side comparison.

Edited by Gus: 2/21/2016 8:15:25 PMJust wish the Gunsmith would sell that shiz. Only did once. But he has that Suros and Omolon garbage every week :-( (PDX-45 is beast though...)
-
Don't know
-
Played with both in crucible and they do have their differences. I end up picking the Hakke in the end.
-
Yeah I have a Doctrine and Arminus but perks mean all. I have counterbalance on my doctrine and Persistance/braced frame/rangefinder on Arminus.
still prefer doctrine for the scope tho
-
Thing can go toe to toe
-
You don't say...
-
".. just like Atheon's Better-logue."
-
Guessing there are counter arguments to this discussion. At least we are talking about them
-
I have an Arminius with crowd control, glass half full, and braced frame. I barely use Doctrine.
-
Less stability, hard to get with an even half decent roll, Hakke sights suck, less range.
