While the dark zone [i]may[/i] have people who are heartless people only concerned with themselves, not everyone is like that. If you put effort into helping other players and/or just make being considerate to other players a priority, you might find yourself in a more positive environment :)

My experience in the DZ last night was brilliant, there was a team of 4 guys going around killing people who were on their own (easy targets for scummy scrubs like that), but soon enough they got the attention of most people in the area who then teamed up and absolutely destroyed them. The best thing you can do is be on your mic, ask people if they need any help and if you see someone attempting to extract gear go and offer your help to cover them. That's what I've been doing, and when you bump into them later they'll remember that you're friendly and not attack you. It's all about communication. Also I called in an extraction, a few guys turned up because they had some gear they wanted to save, unfortunately for me they took up all of the bag slots on the chopper so there wasn't room for my stuff, but they all waited and covered me whilst I called in another chopper.
