I've seen this suggestion on a few posts already so I thought I'd take a poll on how popular the concept is. Reset special ammo EVERY ROUND. As an additional change, I propose the ammo timer be reduced from 30 seconds to around 10-15. Hear me out. With how special is now, people are turning to IB and sidearms to get ammo thanks to the glitch/bug/intended mechanic/whatever that the weapons give you. It breaks the flow of combat cause you have people literally running away to get special ammo or have IB generate some for you, then pausing the game to switch weapons. While I love the new focus on primary gun fights, having to chase a team around the map for 30 seconds so they can get ammo is tiresome and rewards cowardice. Ammo resets every round make every round begin balanced. Reducing the timer renders IB not worth waiting for and that 10-15 seconds determines whether you wanna hunker down and get special that round, or push for the primary gun fight and hopefully take the enemy down before they get ammo, or at least scare them away from their favorite crate. [b]This will also alleviate the issue of that one last guy on the team who won't die because he's too busy just trying to run around and hoard all the ammo he/she can for the next round before the enemy team dusts them.[/b] [u][i]That bastard should be trying to win/save their teammates. [/i][/u] Overall, I feel a change like that would create a more nuanced, tactically oriented 3v3 (or 2v2!) Crucible, rather than landslides because one team got special the first round and is now able to competitively push better than the other team. Let me know what you guys think! Small sidenote: Perks on special weapons that generate reserve ammo and the like are fine, you're giving up a perk slot to MAYBE get ammo, so that's your call.
