I'm looking for great exotic ideas from the community. If you want to take part in this contest, simply comment your exotic concept and the other commenters including myself will judge how awesome it is. [b]Realism[/b] Your Exotic should be somewhat balanced, I don't want to see a weapon with 99 impact, rate of fire, and stability. Make sure it's name, flavor text, and exotic perk all fit a theme.   • "Frankenstein" Hunter Exotic Chestplate [i]...it's alive!![/i] Has a look similar to vermillion stripe, but with a tattered sash, held onto the Chestplate by screws. The sash covers a small working generator. The chest plate changes with the shader, but not the blue arc light that comes from the generator Exotic perk Second chance: If you are killed while having a full arc blade charge, you can come back to life with your arc blade. Your super will drain more quickly, but your arc blade lunges have increased distance and damage. Once the arc blade runs out, you die and await revival/respawn.

I think of this weapon as a good weapon for cleaning mobs*

      I have 3 weapons, each exclusive for a specific class. Name: [b]Innocence[/b] Flavor Text: [i]I love going to School![/i] Weapon Type: Sniper Rifle.  Hunter Exclusive. Exotic perk: Realization.  When weak(20%), damage is tripled. Appearance: A pink thousand Yard stare model.  As the player becomes weaker, it fades into a blood red. Secondary Perk: Eye of the Storm Elemental damage: Solar Archetype: high Rof low impact.  35 ROF, 19 impact, 70 range, 30 stability, 90 reload. The spoiler will explain how to obtain this weapon. [spoiler]Reach rank 15 with the Gunsmith.  Get kills(50) while weak(anywhere in red health).  Then, you must kill 25 majors or ultras with sniper rifles.  After that, you go back into the colony ship on a special mission.  The exposure modifier is active, and at the very beginning of the mission you lose all your white health.  You have to travel to the top, fighting enemies, and go into Cayde's stash room and open a chest, getting a special sniper component.  You go back to the Gunsmith, wait until next Armsday and get the gun.[/spoiler] Name: [b]Meek Hope[/b] Flavor Text:  [i]Are you there Kei?  Am I even here?[/i] Gun type: Fusion Rifle, Warlock Exclusive. Exotic Perk: Killing an enemy grants invisibility until you take or deal damage. Appearance: Looks like a standard white Omolon fusion Rifle, but it has parts of it that are invisible.  The invisibility shifts around on the weapon. Secondary Perk: Hidden hand Elemental damage: Void Low charge rate, high impact.  55 range, 60 stability, 75 reload. The spoiler is how to obtain the weapon [spoiler]To obtain this weapon, you must hit rank 15 with the Gunsmith.  There will be a quest where you have to take a crappy fusion Rifle called [b]No Hope[/b] and kill taken with it while a special telemetry is active.  Next, you need to get 5 kills in a Crucible match(with the fusion, duh).  Once all that is done, Ikora acknowledges the players skill with Fusion Rifles.  You then get a mission to go kill the Silent fang in a special mission in the Cosmodrome.  Finally, she tells you to go into Rasputins Bunker and try to find a special program for a weapon.  There will be many puzzles and parkour, and then you open a chest and get the item you need.  You go back to Banshee and wait until next Armsday.  Then you can receive the weapon.[/spoiler] Name: [b]Kurumi's Shovel[/b] Flavor Text: [i]"Kurumi, I'm sorry..." "Don't be.  It wasn't your fault." "Do you want help cleaning it?" "No."[/i] Weapon Type: Shotgun.  Titan exclusive. Exotic Perk: Melee range is increased with this weapon equipped. Same model as the Trials shotgun, except all dark blue.  It has the head of a shovel attached to the front. Secondary Perk: Cascade Elemental damage: Arc Archetype: 20 ROF, 55 impact, 20 range, 40 stability, 70 reload. The spoiler is how you obtain this weapon. [spoiler]To obtain this weapon, you must have rank 15 with the Gunsmith.  Then, he will ask you to get Arc melee kills(150).  After that, he will send you to Zavala.  You will have a special mission on the Crucible map Skyshock.  Its difficulty will be 300 light, and you must do it alone.  You will have to fight off 5 waves of enemies, the first being all yellow bar dregs, shanks and Vandals.  The second takes out the dregs and replaces them with Captains.  The third round will be nothing but sniper Vandals and Captains.  The fourth round will be the same as the third, but with the addition of dregs on pikes.  You cannot drive the pikes.  The fifth and final round will be the same as the fourth, but with a tank added in.  After all this is done, you have to go to the far end of the map and take a shovel out of a dead Gaurdian's hands.  Then, you must dismantle 10 shotguns of legendary rarity or higher.  Exotics count as 2 shotguns.  Then, you wait until the next Armsday and receive the weapon.[/spoiler]

        Wreckless Deleker Flavor text: "I think you've brought the crazy out in me...... Time to wreck stuff." Scout rifle Medium impact High RoF Average stability Average reload speed. Exotic perk: Deleker's Bane: Precision kills with this weapon allow it to be fired in full auto until you reload , but stability decreases while in full auto. Random perks, except that it always comes with perfect balance. Weapon look: Spikes all over the weapon. Front has a lion chisles into it. Colors would be random. Could come in blue, green, red, white, or rainbow. There would be only one scope and it is a mix between an ironsight scope and hung jury scope.

        Exotic Hunter Chest [b][u]Cayde's Stash[/u][/b] [i]"The best hiding place is in plain sight"[/i] Exotic Perk: [b][u]"Plenty of those."[/u][/b] Gain an additional grenade. Grenade kills restore melee energy. Stat rolls are Discipline, Strength, or both. Random extra ammo perks and armor perks. Looks similar to Armamentarium, except the grenades are located on the left side of the waist.

      • [b] Fear Eater [/b] Exotic Hunter helmet "Peer inside....do you see that? It's fear." Exotic Perk: Feast When super is active, all enemies are highlighted. How it looks: A relatively plain older looking helmet (kind of like a titan helmet without designs) except, where the mouth would be, it is broken open to look like a gapping mouth with large teeth. When the super is active, where one of the eyes would be, it lights up to the colour of your shader (default is red though).

        • Exotic hunter helmet: "Critical Mass" [i]There's no going back...[/i] Golden gun shots hit for critical damage. This would make the Golden gun behave exactly like a normal hand cannon, with the same crit multiplier.

[b]Secondary perk:[/b] Projectiles ricochet [b]Stats: [/b] [i]RoF - 67 Impact - 60 Range - 22 Stability - 35 Reload - 33 Mag - 45[/i] (I did my best to compare machine guns and figure what would be somewhat appropriate) [b]Appearance: [/b]It's sleek and simple. Almost entirely white - but with a lightbar on the side that's lit blue when the gun is loaded - and unlit when empty.

[/i] Rate of Fire: 80 Impact: 20 Range: 50 Stability: 60 Reload: 75 Mag Size: 36 Exotic Perk: Transcendence When crouched, bullets travel through walls, with each wall taking off 2 points of impact. Another Exotic Perk: Lucky Card The impact on precision hits does not decrease, doesn't matter if it's range falloff of Transcendence

            • Spitfire Exotic Auto Rifle [i]A little bit of hell in every shot[/i] RoF: 86 Impact: 8 Range: 27 Stability: 64 Reload: 75 Exotic Perk 1, "Ignition:" The bottom half of this magazines sets rounds on fire and deals triple damage with the chance to deal lingering solar damage to whoever it hits.

            • The Last Legionnaire [i]of all who fall before me, may it not be for nothing, but for everything...[/i] Exotic titan helmet Replenish Orbs of light restore health on pick up. virtus autem infinita gain increased armour and health recovery when outnumbered. Increases as enemies grow in ranks. ( similar to the ram but requires enemies to be near by, and also adds more to the buff dependent on rank such as yellow health to red health. Caps at 60% increase.)

                      Exotic Name: Times Chances (Exotic Pulse Rifle) Flavour Text: Even time has its chances. Exotic Perk: Every pulse shot has a 50/50 chance to return to the magazine. Every shot in that one pulse that does not return to the magazine does 5 extra damage. Description: Similar to the a normal pulse rifle model but the rifle comes out of a goblins eye at the end. Secondary Perk: Zen Moment Element Type: None Stats/Archetype: Bad Juju/Hawksaw fast fire rate pulse rifles.

Hunters aren't getting any love in this thread. 45-S Agile Striders | Exotic Hunter Boots "SPEEDSTREAK Sigma-SIRVIUM-XII Boot-Mounted Multitaskers (Velocity Type)" Tier 0: Grants Battle Runner for all weapons. Reload and ready times for all weapons are faster while Battle Runner is active. Tier 1: From The Hip (Primary weapons grant Hip Fire) or SlipMags (Primary weapons reload faster) Tier 2: Quickdraw or Feeding Frenzy for all Primary weapons Tier 3: Reload and hip fire weapons while sprinting. Kills while sprinting when Battle Runner is active further increase sprint speed for a short time. Stacks up to 3 times. Description: Without a Shader, these boots are pure white with a double red racing stripe down the thighs and shins.

Right= solar damage) "[i]ZAP ZAP, SCORCH SCORCH, ZAP, SCORCH, ZAP, SCORCH![/i]" [b]Appearance[/b]: Zappy is a blue hand cannon similar in modelling to the [i]FateBringer[/i] with the nozzle and magazine emiting sparks. And Ash is the same only red and instead of sparks flames, [b]Exotic perk[/b]: [i]Bandit's aim[/i]: Precision Kills with one gun gives increased accuracy and a [i]slight[/i] damage bonus to the other gun, stacks 3x lasts until either of the guns are reloaded. Example: [spoiler]I get a kill with Ash, Zappy gets the buff, i get a kill with Zappy, Ash gets the buff, i reload Ash they both lose the buff[/spoiler] [b]Secondary perks[/b]: High caliber, Quickdraw, Faster reload.                         The lance Sometimes you need too get trough it without hesitation. Auto rifle , solar RoF - 88 Impact. - 8 Range. - 35 Stability. - 60 Reload. - 1 Mag - Exotic perk: this weapon has unlimited ammo but overheats, press x for cooldown The ballistic perks Focus fire/hip fire Perfect balance/high caliber/+1 agility Third eye - The weapon functions similar to the plasma repeater from halo reach and the m7 lancer from mass effect 3 I want to experiment with the RoF so that's why it has focus fire with a 88 RoF. So it has unlimited ammo but can't spam it or it will overheat. If it overheats then you have to press reload to cool it down. It can shoot 55 shots without focus fire and 35 with it.
