What's the deal with Radiance, Post 2.0?

I used to get 10 grenades during Radiance. Gear and stats seemed to be a non-factor in this. With 2.0, suddenly I was lucky to get 4 off. I was told that it was due to the stat rebalancing, and that with TTK gear, I'd be back to normal in no time. To me, that sounds like a stealth nerf to the ability, which didn't appear to be tied to any stats before, in terms of how many grenades you could throw. It was just a 1-second cooldown during Radiance. Now, I've gotten a little bit of gearing done in TTK, and it seems improved on where it was last week, but still not back to 10-grenades plus the two in the chamber I had to start that I had before 2.0. I haven't been back to Crucible since TTK launched, but I remember the absurdity of using Fireborn to self-res in Crucible, figuring on pummelling my killer with grenades, only to become a big, fiery target, standing there with my junk in my hand, because I couldn't have grenades fast enough. Dying immediately after rezzing, being unable to do anything about it is embarassing.

See I don't think the grenade time effects me that much. I definitely notice the difference, but I usually run two grenades which helps. What bothers me is the damage during the Warlock super. I view the Sunbreaker super as a very similar super to Radiance. A major difference is that one hammer kills a Radiance Warlock. But, it takes at least 2 grenades to kill a Sunbreaker using their super. The Sunbreaker can also throw hammers at a much faster rate than a Sunsinger can throw grenades. Not sure about blast radius or anything but the hammers seem much more effective. I think Sunsingers should get a significant damage boost with their super. The only argument I can think of is that Sunsingers have self res. Which some might feel its unfair to make it easier for someone reserecting to kill the players that already killed the Sunsinger that round. And that part of what balances reserecting is that it does take more skill and luck to kill the enemy team. Following that arugument they could at least boost Sunsinger damage towards enemies using their super, not regular players. Or maybe make it so other solar class supers, that shoot multiple projectiles take 2 hits to kill a Sunsinger. Maybe I'm just another whining destiny player. I just think it's incredibly stupid when I'm Radianced, and I stick a fusion grenade to a Sunbreakers face, then shoot him, but he doesn't die. Then he throws one hammer relatively off target and I die instantly from splash damage... just saying...
