Landfall only works if the Warlock manages to get right next to you before activating the super. They have to do that without blinking (Stormcaller can't blink unless they are already in their super) and with no overshield/damage reduction. If they manage to do that, then you are boned. Once in the super, the Stormcaller again has no overshield/damage reduction and so can be taken down by the same number of bullets as a normal Warlock. Yes, they can blink and be hard to hit but they are vulnerable.
All that being said, I actually do agree that the super is a tad too long. You really shouldn't have multiple times that you can be killed, respawn at another location on the map, then get killed again by the same super. This seems to happen a lot. I main a Warlock and rarely use Stormcaller in PVP. I find it to largely be a suicide class. You may get some kills with your super, but I almost always end up getting killed in the end. I prefer my long-distance void bomb.

It only last long if its got the perk of popping it with full grenade and melee and we earned that perk so should be able to use it

Well...this is a bit of a necrobump. And I was wrong about much of what I said above. The Stormcaller does get a substantial damage reduction while in super. I have moved beyond calling for nerfs for things. However, I use Voidwalker instead of Stormcaller....because I try not to be cheap PVP.
-
Stormcaller cheap? My ass bro you know how many times I've been killed while in stormtrance there are more ways then I care to jot down to wipe out my stormcaller so to call it cheap shows you don't know how to spend your two cents

Bullshit they have damage resistance. If they don't have damage resistance a shotgun to the face should be one shot but it's not. If you really want to see a super with no damage resistance look at gunslinger. A literal glass cannon.

Stormcaller does get a damage resistance ive shot someone as they have activated it and it goes from like 40 a crit to 25

Edited by >< ill EAGLE ><: 1/5/2016 1:26:30 PMLandfall is actually a cylinder with infinite range up and down like foh. Jump over the enemy and activate. You could be 30 ft in the air anyone under you is toast.
-
Yes...but the Warlock lacks an infinite jump. I concede that they can also get just above you before activating it, but that also requires some skill or at least good timing to do without getting killed. And again, FoH has rather substantial damage reduction during activation, Stormtrance does not.
