New copy of Destiny: Legendary Edition with used code

I bought myself a copy of Destiny for Christmas, and it looks like the DLC code doesn't work. In fact, it says it is already used. I'm not sure how something like that could happen, it's not like I have ninjas living with me (I checked) I also tried redeeming it through the mobile app, hoping it was a server thing, and got the same results.

  • I too am experiencing the same thing. Code already used. Contacted Sony and they also confirmed the code was used. BEFORE I purchased the game. They point me to Activision as it's a 3rd party game with a code they did not issue. Activision says "If you received an error message or run into any other issues when redeeming a code for Destiny: The Taken King or the Early Access Weapon Pack, please contact PlayStation Support or Xbox Support for assistance." Sony says contact Activision, Activision says contact Sony... WTF....
