Would love this but it's an engine limitation. You can get the Destiny Item manager and save load outs that will auto change your gear for you if you have space

It is absolutely not an engine limitation. It would only take a few lines of code.

That would introduce more bugs than it's worth. The problem with bungies engine is they have very static ways certain things are generated. Like excel there are only so many things you can do limited by the code

Edited by Atraira: 12/13/2015 3:46:37 AMOut of curiosity, are you familiar with coding at all? I'm a relative novice when it comes to programming but even I know how it would be done.

Mostly just databases. Watch the gdc 2015 spot of destiny it'll give you an idea of what they are working with

The code already exist. The first time anyone pre ttk logged into TTK destiny there was code that determine thier maximum possible light level and assigned that as there now character level without having to equip anything. This is why veteran players started TTK as base level 34 not base level 20. All this is asking is for that code to apply to reward drops and decryptions.

Right but there are limits on when that code can be executed

Edited by Shadow_Legion: 12/13/2015 5:18:21 AMOn login the code could check your max light level and put that into a simple value and call it every time you are rewarded instead of the using the call that draws from your current equipped gear. The technology is there they have to apply it. I don't know how they write their code so admittedly I can only speculate.
