Cabals. Personally as someone named Jeff the cabal, you'd think I'd be a little biased, but no, deep down I do believe the cabal are stronger. They follow a simple logic. There's a task, and we complete that task wether it means life or death. Keep in mind the cabals are this huge extensive military that is said to control multiple planets and star systems around the Galaxy, not to mention they are the only race out of the 5 (including humans) that has not faced a collapse yet. The cabals are some of the most loyal soldiers there are, giving up their lives for those higher ranks than they are. Back to my original statement, cabals have a goal, and we succeed that goal no matter what the cost is. I do not believe that the taken King demonstrated the cabal power very well. The cabal were literally seconds away from blowing up the dreadnaught, along with oryx and everything on the ship all in one go, without oryx doing anything. (He probably would be caught off guard if all a sudden within seconds his ship collapsed in a million bits.) not to mention that core could've destroyed most of our solar system. I do not believe that this was a good representation of the cabals power, and how I was carried out through the taken King.

Sure, the Hive have Dreadnaught's, but have you seen the old concept art for the Cabal? They would annihilate the regular Hive. Don't know about the Ascendant Hive though...

The cabal probably have about 50 dreadnoughts in their military.
