Here you go In order to form a Link to a Veteran, you must have played Destiny: The Taken King and created a profile on Bungie.net. To form a Link to a Veteran, follow the steps below: Follow the referral link that a Veteran has provided you. If you have not created a Bungie.net profile, you will asked to create one. Follow the steps to Link to a Veteran. Ensure that you are linking to your Veteran on the correct console platform (e.g. PlayStation 4 or Xbox One) If you see an incorrect platform, you will need a new referral for the correct platform. It may take up to an hour for your completed Link to appear in-game. Once Linked, the Quest "A Tale of Two Guardians" will be available from the Speaker in the Tower. *Please note: If your referral link is not working, please check with the Veteran to ensure that the referral is still available. If none of these steps solved your problem, you may return to the help page to seek other answers.

  • Reciprocating the Referee Side of things does not solve the problem.....It creates a loop. If the veteran is waiting for the referee to accept the referral, and the referee does not know how to do so....it becomes endless.

  • Once the referee clicks on the link the veteran sent them it takes them through the steps starting with creating a bungie.net profile. That's all the referee has to do, just click the link and do what it says.

  • Which I have.....I had bought destiny from GS over the weekend so buying it from here is redundant.....If thats what its concerned about...then its a flawed system.

  • When my buddy did it he clicked the link, it asked him if he had a bungie.net account which he did so he clicked yes and it prompted him to sign in. After that it gave him a series of 3-4 steps to follow and the two accounts linked. It should not ask you to purchase the game again.
