Nothing is unbiased

The only issue I have is [spoiler]it ended on a cliffhanger [/spoiler] I did not care about the character choices. In fact I found them interesting. But [spoiler]warden fights reminded me too much of destiny[/spoiler] Probably shouldn't have did it on legendary to start.

Halo 4 and Halo 5 had the worst campaigns available, Spartan Assault notwithstanding, and it's due to 343 trying to shift the series's focus away from the long loved Human, Covenant, Flood war into this new, terribly thought out and horribly Human VS. The Grey Robot Menace thing. Because that's what we need in Halo. Grey robots, Grey Hallways, And new characters with so little going for them that you have to [i]try[/i] to relate to them. Seriously, why even call it Halo if you only give us 3 missions to play as the main protagonist of the Halo series, when there's no reason for him to be out of the picture? At least in reach we were, or at least should have been, aware the Master Chief Petty Officer John was in cryo. But this game were supposed to care about this new group of characters that, aside from Buck, have to be introduced Via the #HuntTheTruth lie fest and/or the rewritten lore in the books. I'm not even going to touch on the fact that you either play the REQ driven Warzone game type or you put up with the Tryhards in the ranked Arena. Though I will go on to say that whoever decided that BTB needed to be ranked needs to be fired. There are too many faults in this game that could have been given a wide birth by stick with the formula that [i]works[/i] rather than playing the guessing game like Bungie is doing with Destiny. Oh. And Split Screen. You rip out that, you just went and -blam!-ed up. There's no excuse for it, but the ones they gave were so sad I forgot to cry. 343i failed with 4. They screwed up with MCC. And they learned nothing, as proven by Halo 5.

He should stick to movie reviews that's the only thing he's good at

This dude barely played the game he was getting destroyed on multiplayer so he's hating on a game he sucks at and this was on his stream than he went into a pro's stream trashing the game calling out the competitive community this guy is not a Halo fanboy he's just garbage at the game lost all respect for what he did childish moron.

Joe is right about the micro-transactions getting out of hand. While I personally don't care for them, they're starting to become the new norm for games these days, much like how the new norm for games being released before they've been polished. He even stated in a live stream when he was playing multiplayer about how players like the OP's aren't seeing the bigger picture and how he always gets hate when he gives a review that 'in their opinion' is wrong and that the game is the best thing to happen since sliced bread. He summarized the multiplayer pretty well while mentioning the changes that were made, Halos main purpose and the main point of his review was about the campaign. However you wanna put it or accept it. He has said himself, don't take his word for it or accept his opinion if you don't like it. It's a review on his own experiences, not yours. The OP making this thread is a prime example of it, you pretty much made this thread because you don't like what Joe said in this specific video. The comments in the video are enough to prove that instead of having to bring it here. At least his reviews are honest unlike some who get paid and not give 2 shits about the game itself. They just want money.

I tend to appreciate his views because he does point out a lot of crap the gaming industry is beginning to do to get players to spend more money. I personally would have given Halo 5 a slightly higher score, but his points about certain games having locked out content and turns them into DLC is becoming to mainstream now. I'd rather a developer/publisher just be honest about stuff. But, too many casual fans don't care about how the industry works and modern pricing models. They just throw money at the screen without fully realizing what they are buying or rebuying again.

His review wasn't THAT bad - he did make alot of relevant points and it's difficult to entirely disagree with him

AngryJoe gives more honest reviews than most people. He draws attention to flaws by being dramatic about it, but if you bothered to listen to the whole 30 min he says lots of good things too. If we don't criticize, devs will never know what they did wrong
