I just want everyone to stop a minute and remember, think about the old days where legendaries weapons meant you were a bad ass, needless to say anything about Exotics. Remember when no one even knew what an exotic was? I remember my first legendary and exotic. My first legendary was the "[i]Doctor Nope[/i]" even though that thing sucked and I got it from a decoherent engram. It still was my first legendary and i freaked out about it. I should have never dismantled it. My first exotic was "[i]Patience and Time[/i]", I got it from my first Vault of Glass raid. It took forever to get to Atheon, and then it took even longer time to beat him. When i felt the relief and sensation of destroying the hardest boss in destiny itself, I saw at the top right of my screen a yellow weapon, I only heard of the word exotic at that time, but i went crazy. I screamed and yelled. I GOT AN EXOTIC! I GOT ONE!! ITS A SNIPER!!! People congratulated me and i felt so great. That was pretty amazing loot for the first raid ever. I told everyone that it was a sniper called "Patience and Time". They said that weapon was really good. Even though i wasn't a sniping type of guy, i stilled love that i got an exotic. Now i have every Y1 exotic in the game. I also remember my first [i]Hard[/i] raid. I had done maybe a couple of the normal raids, but i never even thought about doing the hard raid. I was a humble 29 just trying to have a challenge... and oh yeah, it was a challenge. We had just got through the Templar and it took forever to complete it, but when we did, someone commented, "we're only half way there, stay frosty". I felt a chill down my spine wishing this could just be over to get my loot. I don't remember what i got from that raid, but no one got the "[i]Fatebringer[/i]". While we traversed through the ghost spirit bloom chest caves, i heard someone talk about how you could get an exotic from the chest at the bottom. I was concerned and asked for more info. I had a thought in my head that it was a guarantee to get one. I was excited until he said that it was a really low chance. I looked down in disappointment. When we got down to the bottom of the exotic chest, i looked at the cylinder shaped chest and waited for everyone to approach it. I let every one go before me so i could see the rewards, but no exotics. I slowly approached the chest and held the square button doubting anything would drop for me. Next thing i see is a yellow square with an auto rifle went by the name of "[i]Hard Light[/i]". I went crazy about it. My second exotic, The "[i]Hard Light[/i]". i inspected it in awe. People around scowled me in jealousy. Someone said to "That's the rarest auto rifle in the game!". I felt even more pride about my new exotic. I tested it and loved it. We continued the raid and got to Atheon. People said things about a "[i]Vex Mythoclast[/i]", i didn't understand anything they were talking about. I asked myself,"What the hell is a Mythoclast?". We wiped a lot of times, it was hard, everyone was on the verge of quitting. We all gave it 1 more try. We were doing great that round, Atheon was about a quarter health. we did another cycle. after we left the relic bubble, Atheon's health was so low, we couldn't see his health at all. People were yelling through their mics,"Just shoot him, someone melee him, SOMETHING!". I was at the mars conflux protecting it, and at that very moment i take a glimpse at Atheon and see a warlock jump towards him with a leap of faith and finish Atheon with a final blow of a scorch melee. It was the most epic thing I've ever seen in destiny. Later after that i see another yellow box at the top right of my screen, and see The "[i]Vex Mythoclast[/i]". I went insane. "I GOT IT!
