what happened to the Cinematic story telling?
from the beginning there has been a lack of story. there were a few cut scenes but nothing really gets answered like the following.
1) who am I?
2)how did a ghost shell Revive me from the Dead?
3)who is the speaker and why should i trust someone who seems to use Necromancy(reviving dead)?
4)why should i kill aliens because they look different and have guns(lack of story)?
5)why have we not gotten access into the city? is there a city?
6)ect. ect.ect.
We are TWO Expansions into the game already. we are still clueless about the questions Above. on top of that there are no cut-scenes. the grimoire out of game does not help. i might as well read the way the original game should have been released if that's the case.
what happened to the Open World? the planets feel so small for being so HUGE. why do we still not have access to the entire solar system?
are you really fixing these issues? like actually making an effort to make an actual thought out story with many more cut-scenes?

“What you’ll see in this expansion, it’s going to be a very different approach to telling a new story to players than the thematically driven story from the original launch of the game.” ~Bungie president Harold Ryan

wait...what?should you have not told me you were thinking of changing so much with destiny before i bought the game? we would all agree yes! the destiny game was released on September 9, 2014 and you said the this October 29, 2014. so it took literally 20 days after launch for you to say "switch it up Boys! were trying Something new! for get about working on a better Cinematic Story we will make it easier on us. just us Audio and the same old locations but in reverse*laughs secretly to himself*" how could you do this to your Customer;the ones that make you so wealthy?

“There’s not a game exactly like this that exists. We’re learning as we go what works for people and what doesn’t work for people.”

games were not born yesterday. there is already a pathway to help you understand what players like and don't like. obviously you new to make destiny feel like halo, Mass effect, and guilty gears, but what about destiny itself? it has introduced so little. we like the game because of those other attributes in said games. not for destiny itself. destiny presents only death. kill vex, kill fallen, kill, kill kill but for what? to die and revive again? wheres your story? the audio is not cutting it Bungie.
why are you not taking notes from other MMO's and Games in general? how does it make sense not too?

“The main thing we lose when lowering the difficulty curve is a sense of achievement. When the bar is lowered so that everyone can reach max level quickly, it makes getting to max level the only sense of accomplishment in the game. We lose the whole journey in between, a journey that is supposed to feel fun and rewarding on its own.
“Nobody stops to admire a beautiful zone or listen to story or lore, because there is no time to do so. You are fed from a fire-hose of quests that you feel compelled to blaze through, whose content is so easy and quick to accomplish, that you are never in one place long enough to appreciate the incredible world around you.”

is this the approach Bungie is taking with Destiny? it kinda feels that way but i hope i'm wrong. the past 2 DLC's though....they have not proved me wrong.
to make it more difficult you approve of barriers like no OPMM or In-Game LFG? of course you do i have your quotes from employees and forbes and eurogamers.

PvP lead Derrick Carroll~ “We’ll find you enemies, but we won’t find you friends.”

This is about as much as Bungie has said on the issue since launch, though stating that the difficulty of finding a team is “part of the challenge”

To me, all of this is very poor logic, and even worse design. Destiny was built around group play. And yet, ever since launch, there has been one fundamental component missing in Destiny itself. A way to find groups effectively within the game itself.~Forbes

Yes, Destiny's story failed. Most agree on this point. Including, it seems, Destiny's developer, Bungie.

i think you need to take a break(go Offline) and fix this game so we can truly enjoy it.
guardians please give your replies and show your concern. i know many of you are not okay with paying so much for destiny so far, let alone pay more than 500+ in this game through a 10 year-plan when the game offers so little. the way the developers sound, it is as if they do not care about the customer at all. if your going to bash or be a jerk please do it with knowledge.
