Everyone knows you can get black spindle by doing Lost to Light when it's the current daily story. But, not everyone can finish it. I've gotten to thinking. A lot of people I know have tried and failed to kill Driviks and The Taken in the allocated time. Most people have lost sleep, trying 'just one more play-through...' Or a second. Or fith. Or sixth. Then,, it's suddenly 2am and you've gotta be up at 6am to get to work.
We all also know that some people can solo it (if you have the high 300+ light and an exotic sword to smash Driviks with much more damage, a LOT faster than the legendaries can put out). But, for those who've failed and miss out, maybe we'd like to practise, when we have the time. So, IF we're short on time during that rare occasion Lost to Light pops up as the Daily, we're better organised to get through it.
The door is shut when we play Lost to Light on 240 difficulty (when It's not the daily story). There's no option to play through it. What if, we could still play through that challenge on 240 difficulty of Lost to Light, any time we like? Even if Black Spindle wasn't available to players who complete it outside of the Daily. It would allow the not-so-awesome players to get practice for the real deal when it launches as the daily story. It lets the highly skilled players revisit a fun challenge. It would also allow the big YouTube channels to make more detailed strategy vids to help the community get through it.
If you'd like to play through this difficult challenge anytime you like, regardless of the rewards, please upvote and click the polls :)
