Didn't get into 3 very much. Either time I tried it. Oblivion, I just played with a fairly generic build. Mostly mêlée with a dash of magic for spice.
Skyrim was the first Bethesda game I truly played a role with. My character was an Altmer, though I didn't use magic as much as I could have. I loved stealthily shooting arrows at dudes and taking bandit camps by stealth. And I was really into alchemy too. Had a lot of fun mish-mashing loads of random bits (as a compulsive picker of all sorts) into something useful.
So I suspect a focus on stealth and whatever helps crafting would be good, as well as confidence for conversations, and a dash of luck. Any other ideas? As a hoarder, I guess... Uh, athleticism would help not overburden me?

People are sleeping on the Luck perks. I'll be starting with 8 luck and levelling up to 9 early on.

My special looks like this: S-3 P-4 E-3 C-6 I-6 A-3 L-3 How I would recommend your build is what perks you want. For example I want to craft armor so I put 3 in strength to unlock that perk.

I guess Intelligence should go up there for one of them.
