Eris Morn and her Three Eyes

I've been wondering why Eris has three eyes like Hive knights do. It looks like she has bandages over her face somewhat covering them with something black seeping through the bandage. I wonder if she has been chosen by Crota and turned her into a Hive minion and sent back to Earth for her to send guardians to him. What's your opinion?

 • The proof is in her saying "An eye for an eye...They took one, so I took three." which could mean that they impaired her of her vision and she had to give herself the eyes of a hive so that she could see again. This meant that she had to cut out the other eye and bore a hole into her skull to fit the third hive eye. These eyes granted her the ability to see in the dark, much like night vision. But when she came back to earth, she brought the Hive with her because of the darkness that pours out from the eyes that she has taken. The darkness can only be seen on Eris, but not on the Hive, because it is in a higher concentration in a smaller area because of the bandages covering her eyes to slow the spread of the darkness from her to the guardians. She can also see through her bandages because of the power that the eyes have. So she can still see but, she has to wear the bandages to save the other guardians from ending up as a
Hive minion
like her. She is classed as a Hive minion because of the fact that she is a vessel through which the darkness flows. Much like the guardians and ghosts are vessels of the light.
