Giants fall not from external forces, but from rotting on the inside.
EDIT: For those who want the short version.
Bungie big wigs rob Marty of the rights to his own music rights, his proper due payment for his already completed musical work, and they took away his massive amounts of stock in the company since he really is one of the founders of Bungie.
Marty sues the big wigs wanting his music rights back, his stocks, and due payment for his work. HE WINS THE CASE HANDS DOWN EVEN SO MUCH AS HAVING THE COURTS THEMSELVES IN LEGAL SPEAK CALL THE BIGWIGS OF BUNGIE A BUNCH OF ARSEHOLES FOR DOING THIS!
Now the big wigs are trying to make this into something less evil in the eyes of the courts and public image.
DO NOT LET THEM GET AWAY WITH THIS! WE HAVE A COLLECTIVE VOICE THEY LISTEN TOO SO CHEW OUT THESE UNGRATEFUL JERKS!!!!

Spread the word Spartans, do not let the memory of Bungie fade from glory. WE HAVE A VOICE TO STOP THIS!!!

you need to calm down no one cares about Marty's terrible music he will never get another job as good as this one and also he didn't wreck shit he just wants to be in the lime light for a little bit people like this make me angry

Edited by Sulla 13: 10/16/2015 8:59:22 AMBye bye Marty O'Donnell. You won't be missed. Bungie is doing just fine without you. Good luck getting a job again.

All the inflammatory titles of his videos in that image are precisely why you should disregard that Youtuber. He is the Fox News of gaming news.
-
It's stated right in the video that this happens practically all the time. I do not excuse Bungie for what they did, but they're playing the game. Marty wasn't exactly in the right either after E3, from what I remember reading he became highly insubordinate. He brought it up to official channels, fine, that's good. But he also apparently acted out on his frustration - that's pretty unprofessional too. Granted we know who the bigger douche here was, but all the blame can't be left with Bungie and Activision no matter how much we love/loved Marty. That being said, voice your opinion, just keep it to what we know and not throw in wild speculations on top of it. P.S. Publishers nearly always have some sort of control. It's ignorant to assume otherwise.

Hopefully this will teach Bungie a lesson. I love Destiny and I want it to prosper.
-
How -blam!-ing great is it? I just watched the video just then. Hooooooooly shit Bungie's PR department must be going through hell trying to cover up and try and spin this around. > tfw 343 Industries is the new Bungie, with employees who genuinely care about their playerbase and have artistic control over their own game > tfw Microsoft was what was keeping Bungie from descending into a festering cesspit of mediocrity Oh boy, I can't wait to see how Bungie officially reacts to all this (or if they even do).
-
Shit im about to start posting this all over their forums. I knew they were money hungry but holy shit. This is down right vile.
-
Sadly, even though Destiny is a financial success, I believe that most of the talent is now gone. I did not find grinding the same thing over and over again fun. I thought the PvP poor. Almost no vehicles takes the fun out of Multiplayer for me. I also find it disheartening that the direction that Bungie has followed is not going to give me a great Bungie game in the future. There ten year plan is not exciting me.

And yet it doesn't matter. The amount of people that will still dump money into this game will be more than people leaving. Bungie doesn't care.

Where's the ninjas?

Best thing I have ever seen, lol. My step-dad saw me watching this and asked what it was about, I explained it and even though he has never touched a game in his life, he thought it was hilarious and said they deserved it. LMFAO
-
I hope bungie burns!!! They do not deserve our support.
-
Can I get a brief overview for those like me who can't hear anything due to being at work?
-
I've post this too. I was surprised it was that bad

Interesting video, watched the whole thing.
