Collector's Edition digital content needs a patch.
Am I the only one who found the Collector's Edition digital content disappointing? Class restrictions for the shaders? No Infuse perk for any of the Exotic class items? What the hell?
Here's what needs to be done:
[b]1. Remove class restrictions from armor shaders. There is absolutely no reason I shouldn't be able to use the Warlock's shader on my Titan, or the Titan's shader on my Hunter.
2. Add "The Life Exotic" perk to all 3 Exotic class items, so they can be equipped at the same time as other pieces of Exotic armor.
3. Raise base Defense stat for all Exotic class items to 280.
4. Add Infusion to all Exotic class items so their Defense stat can be increased.[/b]

In my opinion Bungie needs to take the plunge on two things: -A TRUE transmog system (all inclusive) -A TRUE balance of weapons (TTK for each type is equal, this would in turn eliminate the rush to transmog year 1 weps that were OP) P.S. my last bullet means for example: all HCs have equal TTK with a few bonus perks, range, ammo, stability etc (I think bonuses like LiTC and FR are what currently prevents true balance). It does NOT mean for example: HMGs have equal TTK with pulse rifles.

The exotic class items were only good for leveling to 40 and maxing out the subclasses. I don't think anyone would use them, even if they'd be infuseable and had the life exotic perk

2 RepliesThe class items are low and non infusable because honestly, would you wear something that offers an exp boost for a subclass and your level after you max out? I do however, agree with the shaders. I was quite sad to see that I couldn't wear sulfur burn on my other classes.

6 Replies1) Definitely, having a class restriction on a shader is dumb. 2) Yes, the exotic class items should not count as out r exotic armour. 3) No way. That would have been an unfair advantage for those of us who purchased collector's editions or the class items as dlc. 170 is exactly what they should start at. 4) For sure, I hate that I can't upgrade my collector's edition items. Frontier shell shouldve been changed over year 2 for that purpose as well.

I don't see the point of number 3 of your gonna add number 4 and well if they don't do any of this I just have one thing to say. Bungie never said how good these things would be so they have no obligation to "fix" anything besides nobody forced you to buy it. Unless you were after the physical merchandise included then by all means pay no mind to what I have said but if you really wanted the digital stuff couldn't you have done what most sensible people have done and just buy the digital stuff on its own?

Agree. That is stupid of bungie to do this to us. Also I'm hoping that the class only weapons can be used by everyone as well.
