Stop it. Just. Just stop it.

I've been quite active on the forums lately, and all I see in the 'classes' section is just over 9,000 hunters complaining about sun breakers super. Ugh. -Countering- So, I doubt any hunters know this: Shadowshot disables supers, and can one-shot a sun breaker. I've gone on my hunter, logged into the crucible, found a hammer bro, and fired my shadowshot. The guy manages to throw one hammer; misses, and suffers a brutal death by smoke grenade in my tether. So, stop complaining about how it can't be countered. -Health/shields- Apparently sun breaker has a ton of HP. I laughed at that statement as I got one-shot from Nova bombs, golden guns, shadowshot ect. That's like saying Headstrong for FoH is op. It's called a super for a reason. -Too many hammers!- OK, I guess we have like... 5 hammers or more. Nice. I guess hunters and warlocks think: 5 hammers = 5 free kills. Not really. Take those... Around 5/6/7 hammers. Now, add map movement. Now, add missing. Now, add panic throwing. So op. It's basically the same as a bladedancer. And don't say "the hammers track!" Cause I use the tracking upgrade, and see almost no difference. -hammers: NOVA BOMBS!- Really? Just... Really? It's like saying Nova bombs blast radius is op, rockets are op, shadow shot is op, grenades are op, and everything that blows up in destiny is op. Not my fault that you thought, "Faa-ting!!! Oh, lemme go try to shotgun that guy." In all, sun breakers shouldn't be nerfed. It's balanced compared to other supers, so stop whining. Hunters...     It's broken. It has the good aspects of every single subclass in it. -heals on kills with hammer (bladedancer and warlock melee) but with range and EVERY ability not just one or two. -has high range with descent hammer speed (range of a Golden Gun and Nova Bomb with lance) but with faster travel speed than other Nova Bombs and almost same explosive radius as Nova Bomb. -max armored titan plus sunbreaker has slightly higher damage resistance than a Radiant Skin warlock with max armor with more range and explosive AOE. -recovery on sunbreaker subclass can equal that of a max recovery warlock (the "medic" class) as well as having controlled burst jumping making it faster than a max agility hunter ( the "speed" class). -has a perk called Simmering Flames allowing for grenades and melees to charge twice as fast (aspects of a Sunsinger warlock). -has a melee called Melting Point that gives a whopping 50% damage bonus! (Weapons of Light = 25% Weapons of Light with Illuminated = 35%) -has a giant AOE with a perk called Explosive Pyre which cause enimies killed by hammer to explode (same as Bloom on warlock). -has a perk called Fleet Fire which increases agility from ability kills (same as Stormtrance Pulse Wave but without taking critical damage) I mean come on and that's not even everything. There is literally no need for any other class.

You only had a chance to do this because the Sunbreaker missed you in the first place. 2. Your tether missed, and since the range of Quiver's tether is terrible, I'll assume you're running blackhole or bloodbound (unless said Sunbreaker was retarded and stood in one place the entire time, thus letting your quiver's tether reach him even after the delayed onset). Plus you only mention 1 shot. 3. If you're running the perk that only allows one shot, then you essentially used your super to cancel his super. Supers cancel supers. Man lands on moon. More at 11. 4. Sunbreaker should have had the time to throw another hammer at you after his first miss and before the tether actually took hold. 5. Essentially, your anecdote is terrible.       • Nothing needs to be nerfed The last time trials was here every match you went into you knew what you would see either 3 bladedancers or sun singers thorn shotty rocket launcher That's just how it was but now tell me what will be there... Sunbreakers only good thing about them is their super the class itself is quite weak whereas Storm caller void walker bladedancers nigh stalkers all have little perks that enhance non super game play If you don't know how to run from a midsuper sun breaker you shouldn't be in crucible Step 1: Hear sun breaker activate Step 2: Run and wait for it to expire Step 3: Kill weak as blam Sunbreakers titan Step 4: Profit

      • Its not just Hunters that want you undeniably OP bastards to get nerfed. It's Warlocks and even some Titans! Everyone wants it nerfed except [u]Selfish, and Garbage[/u] Titans. Use it while you can before it recieves it's inevitable nerf. Its only a matter of time.

      • I main Striker/Def in pvp from the get go and Hammer of Sol IS NOT the balancing Titans asked for. Our NEUTRAL game is what lacked NOT our supers. Warlocks and Hunters had blink. Yes im cockily saying HoS is OP. Its OP. Sunsinger didnt have blink but it had great nades and great exotics with a lifesaving super. Gunslinger didnt have blink but it had an amazing super. Sunbreaker is basically a Sunsinger that throws mini Nova Bombs. Its neutral game sucks but the super needs toning down. Again, THE NEUTRAL GAME is what Titan needed for Y2. Instead Bungie releases a Subclass that has a broken super in the game.

        • Disagree on all points. Countering can apply to any super. Health is OP as you can survive a golden gun. Hammers are way too many. you say you can miss, well so can a golden gun but that's only 3 shots you can have up to twice as much and also put on tracking!!! However as I run all 3 classes I will be joining you in the crucible as a Titan until this gets nerfed. #lettitanshavetheirmoment

        • SB can survive GG if they spec their stats for it, which seems like a fair trade off to me. I'm also ok with the damage reduction being dropped to 50%. All other complaints about the super are just salt.

          • I play all classes and sunbreaker is by far the most OP super. But I don't want a nerf, I want the rest of the subclasses to get buffs. I want 7 shots for my gunslinger. Shit tons of armor for my bladedancer. Poison inside bubble and be able to throw three nova bombs.

              Nightstalker is good because its potential is dependent on the player. Sunbreaker is broken because anyone can come along, pick it up, and destroy kids with it.

            • I agree with a lot of this. Titans, for months, had to use their supers as counters; Hunters don't know how to do that. They are used to offense only and probably wouldn't understand the concept of 'wasting' their super to counter a Sunbreaker. Now that Titans have an offensive super, instead of pure defense and something that should only be used as a counter, the rest of the classes need to learn to adapt instead of crying on the forums. But that's been the case since Suros reigned supreme, and the crying never ends. Suros, Thorn, TLW, blink, shotguns, ammo, and all the other things that have been nerfed mostly because the community refuses to learn to adapt and instead prefer Bungie hold their hand in the deep water. The community will keep crying if Bungie continues to cater to those that refuse to improve.
