Any point in Public Events?
Anyone see a reason to do any of the old patrol Public Events now? No marks, no much rep, no package. I don't really understand why they exist outside of grimoire for folks who are new or still don't have theirs maxed yet.
Court of Oryx counts though and at least gives some good drops and is unique.
If anyone could shed some light on this for me that would be great.

4 RepliesIf it's the "Taken Consumption" event, they're good for Petra's bounties. "The enemy is moving against each other", I see no point in killing Urzok nowadays. Haven't seen what happens in Ishtar Commons, happened once while I was passing through. In the Dreadnaught, I've never been able to see the end of the event, to see who's the big boss at the end. Stalking parties on the Dreadnaught are fun, good for Wormfeeder Runes for the locked chests. Cabal champion event is good for 1 chest. Are there any other events now or is that all? Unless you still need to unlock some chests on the Dreadnaught, that's the only thing public events are good for.
