A lot of debate is going on about Gun Control. Contrary to the popular belief, gun restrictions are actually counterproductive. Criminals factually target areas that are 'Gun-Free zones' because they know they will receive little resistance. But, if most people have a firearm (and know how to use it), then Crime will decrease as 90% of criminals wouldn't want to risk their lives. Let's look at the Oregon Campus shooting, some guy on campus started murdering people, right? Would he have done that if he knew most people he encountered would have a firearm? Likely not, but even if he did, would he have been able to kill all the people he did? No, because as soon as he attempted to kill someone, everyone around him would've apprehended him and stopped him. What are your thoughts on the matter?

 • This is the way I look at it. If you disarm everyone then you think you have disarmed everyone, but if you arm everyone then you know everyone is armed. (Minus those with potentially dangerous mental health conditions of course)
