ALSO... It is with genuine respect but with a feeling of loss for each community member who has opted out of this most recent and blatant Paywall by Bungie. Being locked out of rewards and activities and content already bought is understandably a good reason to no longer play. For those guardians who have retired, in my mind it's not this game that made you legend. Paying a developer for repeated access to an already bought product doesn't make anyone legend. You are a legend by what you do, not by what you pay.[/quote]
It's a video game, and not all that important to me. Again I'm 40 so to me video games, and games in general, are just relaxation and stress reduction. I most likely play too much though since people say I look younger than my age.
Anyway I agree to me what makes me legend is what I have done in life, not game. Earning my Eagle Scout Rank, being a participant in the American Legion Boy's State Program, graduating from Army Intelligence Analyst School, running intelligence missions in Bosnia, so far seeing 6 countries, including Russia in 2001 which was the most special since I grow up in the Cold War, and now teaching English to non English speakers. These things give me more pride then throwing money at a TV for a video game. And I can put most of these on my job resume.

Hence why I said "by what you do". ;o) ;o)

Experience matters (like yours, mine, and others), a great deal in regards to the magnitude of content manipulation in this product. I've never before seen such a vast amount of abuse. I'm only lucky I worked in a law firm for four years. And gamers aren't 12 years old anymore, they've moved on from COD, it's quite possibly the reason why so many are getting refunds being mentioned everywhere. ;o)

Bungie is extorting players for money and hiding behind an adhesive contract as their excuse. I'm waiting for someone to actually get this dog and pony show into a court room, since adhesive contracts are not 100% binding and at times legally scrutinized.
