Bungie please fix the new ghost voice it's very annoying and it sounds like a little kid

Dude, they only had a half a Billion dollars to make this game. What do you expect? Maybe different Ghosts having different voices, or attitudes like their descriptions imply? On a shoe-string budget like that? Seriously.

I thought Peter Dinklage was OK as the Ghost, until I heard Nolan North. Now I think Dinklage was great! Nolan North is an impersonator, Peter Dinklage is an actor.

I agree with you. Too high pitched for my liking. However, don't blame Bungie, everyone complained about Peter Dinklage.

1 ReplyNolan North is a tenor to Dinklage's baritone. It's still an adult voice, just a higher register. Actually, he kind of reminds me of C-3PO, though MUCH less annoying, thankfully. ASIDE: In terms of annoyingness, I think C-3PO is about on a level with Jar-Jar Binks. He reminded me of what it sounds like when a devoutly homophobic straight man tries to pretend that he's gay. If they'd hired Anthony Daniels to play Ghost, I might have had to get out my 12-gauge and blast my Destiny disk full of holes, just to save my sanity. RETURN TO SUBJECT: I know that North's take on Ghost is different. Personally, I like it better in places, and I prefer Dinklage in places. But I detested the fact that Ghost wasn't present in the DLC's. If having Nolan North as Ghost means we'll have out "Little Light" with us in future installments, well, that suits me just fine.

Yeah the new ghost is completely annoying. I wish I could turn it off. Bungie makes terrible decisions left and right.

It is annoying, we make fun of it while we're playing and wish we could turn it off. No offense to anyone but our ghost sounds like he's GAY now... "Like oh my God! Guardian down"

1 ReplyIn the second mission the line "You just killed an Arkon" When done by Dinklebot sounds like "Wow, you're tuff, I picked right." But when done by North it's "OMG, butterflies, unicorns, yeah!"
