This is maybe the one legit complaint i have seen regarding the patch.
I was excited to use my iron banner class items now that the class items are not needed for rep.
Only to find out i still can not use them. They have crap for defense on them.
This was a strange move imo.

So currently there's no place to pick them up if they weren't in your character's possession at the time of the patch.The fact there's no place to go to pick up a dismantled Frontier Shell is also pretty strange.

I don't understand the reasoning behind any of this. To make the change, but then do it in a way that negates the entire point of making the change in the first place.

Exactly. It's like they pulled names out of a hat to decide what light levels each item got.

I know. I don't mind the random nerfs, the auto rifle buffs, the inability to use almost all year one armour and weapons, or even the odd decisions on which exotic weapons to bring forward. I don't even mind that shotguns are still rampantly abusable in crucible. But this just didn't make sense to me. Why bother adding faction pledges, then make the best class items belong to the faction.
