I strongly dislike that blue con Ghost shells and marks/bonds/cloaks are required now if you want the highest light level. Granted, once TTK formally launches I'm sure purple lengedaries will creep back into the picture and there will also be Infusion options (albeit limited) but that's not a real solution either since the fundamentals leading to my complaint still exist. In short, now that Ghost Shells and Class Items contribute to Light level we're no longer allowed to access the depth of taste and variety that pleases us. My purple Ghost Shell from preorder is 3 Defense (utterly worthless by every cosmic definition) and my beloved cloaks, marks and bonds for my three classes are barely better at 3, 110, 120, 130, 135 and 140 ratings. I and every other player from here to Kathmandu are forced to accept whatever gear the Universe throws our way as far as Ghost Shells and Class Items in order to ensure we're at maximum competitiveness and this is for now the ONLY complaint I have with 2.0 but...it's an extremely noteworthy one. In looking over the Forums before posting this I am by no means alone in this disappointment. This hurts most of all on my Titan and Hunter where the Marks and Cloaks (respectively) are extremely visible and therefore HUGE parts of what makes us stand out from one another (as much as that's possible). Now, especially until the new Shells and Class Items arrive, we're all toting the same crappy Vanguard blue-con Class Items and one of TWO blue-con Ghost Shell choices from the Speaker... To summarize, if we want to wear the Class Items (and even Ghost Shells) that truly please us and make us happy for whatever reason(s) the trade off is that we are now forced to sacrifice tangible, relevant things...such as stats that have a direct impact on our competitiveness and performance. Aka, If we choose to sport our favorite Cloak or Mark or Bond in order to be unique and happy from a cosmetic standpoint (or Ghost Shells) we must do so at the overtly dramatic expense of our critical and still hyper relevant Light level? Edited: I cannot stand the new voice of the Ghost, all the old dialog is contrived now and completely lacks character. I read up on this guy and was very excited and I actually feel bad for saying all this but he's terrible :(
