The flood from halo vs the hive from destiny
Which would win a fight. The hive is allowed to use there gods.

The flood are extremely close to supernatural beings. They are already so evolved that grave mind is literally [i]everywhere[/i]. In the halo universe the flood are the closest thing to complete gods.

2 RepliesFlood would obviously win, but you people are saying they would win for the wrong reasons. "GRAVEMIND WOLD KIL CROTO 100%" is not how the argument should be portrayed. The flood would overcome the Hive thanks to their superior numbers and equipment (I.e. High Charity). Besides, the Hive is simply a supernatural spacefaring race. The Flood is an intelligent, widespread parasite. The fight would play out like a game of Othello, the Flood just keeps taking more and more of the Hive's pieces. If Gravemind and Oryx did duke it out, I would assume that Oryx would win due to superior weaponry. But the Flood as a whole could pretty much win any fight.

So what if the hive leader can take enemies? All of the flood can do the same, except the entire flood can act as one mind, allowing them to fight much better

The flood. Even the Covenant and the UNSC couldn't take the flood down without the help of super soldiers like Arbiter and Chief. And even they had to use the Halo rings, weapons specifically built to stop the Flood, multiple times.

This would be a more interesting fight because whenever a taken dies, they are taken back to another dimension. There would be no body to control. Also the fact that Oryx most likely has a sort of tactical-taken-nuke that is kinda like the halo array except on a smaller scale that could transform all local living entities into taken so it could turn the flood against itself. But the flood could adapt. But I'll say the same thing as I've said in every halo v. Destiny thread ever. It's not a very fair comparison as Halo has in depth books of loot about the enemies and entities of their universe when destiny hasn't had the time to catch up lore-wise. Until then, we can't make an accurate comparison. I sometimes wonder if the halo fans know the outcome of the poles and just make these to feel involved and part of a larger thing and it would make it seem like they are correct. A place of less bias would be better for a comparison thread.
