I can't even. As much as I'd like to see the game excel, I can't stomach the thought anymore. It's good to see that Marty won though. Hopefully with some of his well-deserved funds he can build up his own studios, Highwire Games (or whatever it's called).
So, leave Microsoft's dorky-looking, firm leash for Activi$ion's barbed, suffocating leash. And then suck up to the leash's holder. Makes sense.

I hope this ordeal acts as a warning to other developers. Activision harms friendships. In all seriousness though, I'm glad Marty got what was owed to him. It sucks to see Bungie do that to one of their veteran employees. I really want to hear Staten's story as to why he left. It's probably similar to Marty's story though: Activision stepping on their toes in the creative process. It certainly says a lot though when you are willing to leave your company (Bungie) and go work for the one you were trying to get away from (Microsoft). I can't wait for this ten year deal to be over so we can hear all the horror stories.
