Clearly your not doing this "easy solo" on the ps3. It is NOT the same. I'm a level 33 Warlock, have used sunsinger and voidwalker attempting this solo. Cant even get past sword room. Have an 8 shot 365 damage legendary hand cannon for primary, exotic sniper rifle upgraded to 343 with arc damage (time and patience), and fully upgraded legendary solar rocket launcher. Those hallowed knights won't go down! I put 4 headshots on them with the arc sniper rifle, switch to the hand cannon and dump all 8 rounds into them, and they are still alive!!! Hell it takes 6 shots with ghorn to kill one! For all you non believers, I can say that either you did it on another platform, or you did it before last patch.
Still want to complete it but can't solo it. If anyone wants to help out, or just see this for themselves, add me. Badseed1975.

If you are still on PS3 & don't mind helping I'll add you. I'm having the same trouble. Takes me ages to get through the first room. Then I die constantly on the 3rd round in the next room. I'm lvl 32 warlock with decent enough legendary/exotic just don't have ice breaker or Galla. I don't have a mic either but hopefully not a problem.

It took about an hour to an hour and a half but I was able to do it. The hardest part was dealing damage to Phogoth, but unsure if I was hurting him too much before the Tombships spawn. But basically, I realized that you have to whittle down his health in order to get them to spawn. I used a shotgun for the Hallowed Knights (3 shots will kill them). Perhaps you're having issues with the Hallowed Knights that spawn with the shrieker? They disappear when it goes. You do realize they spawn impenetrable shields that cover their front? I think you're timing for your shots is bad, which is why you're taking so many shots on them. In the sword room, run back to where you came (beware, if you died, the enemies will be back) and it makes it so you're more protected and only need to watch one direction. Patience will get your through it. I died many times, but still did it solo in 1 hr 45 mins.
