Alcohol and energy drinks mixed can stop your heart on the spot.

We mixed vodka, Gatorade, and redbull one night, drunk enough that we were buzzing from the redbull and just starting to get drunk, basically enough to give us an alert shakee buzz, then played F.E.A.R.2, scared the crap out of us.

I don't think that's true

Ah, yes, right. Although it's rare, they have the potential to stop your heart. But one of the actual big issues is that energy drinks counteract feeling the effects of alcohol. You don't feel drunk. They tend to call that effect wide awake drunk. You're still drunk but you don't feel like it. As such, for people who chase after the drunken feeling, they drink more. Which leads to problems in itself, as you can no doubt guess.

Edited by Entraps: 7/31/2015 7:51:09 AMI felt pretty drunk after I chugged a bunch of battery acid (that's an energy drink alcohol mix in case it's a regional thing) then again I did have 1 shot too many that night

Depends on the ratio after all. I'd assume you'd have to have a ratio of more energy drink over alcohol to overcome the effects. Different alcohols circulate differently as well. This is chemistry we're talking, after all. Lots of variables.

Edited by Entraps: 7/31/2015 7:59:39 AMthe stuff was mostly energy drink it was a punch bowl filled with like 3 energy drinks, and 5 or 6 shots of vodka if I'm remembering right we played beer pong with a bunch of different kinds of drinks using it, then after the game was over, a friend and I simultaneously chugged what was left in the bowl, which was quite a bit then I forgot that I did that and had another shot when I should not have

Young kids, teens? Yeah it is. Regardless, energy drinks are shitty for you anyway and alcohol really isn't any better. Mixing the both of them just makes it worse at that point anyway.

but it tastes so good
