Your feels regarding the "big argument" threads on Bungie.ne(x)t

For a long time now, Bungie.net and the darkness has been a place that harbored Community discussion that was on par with the Bungie Community for the most part and Offtopic discussion that was in the guidelines of the Forum Rules and Code of Conduct. With the Bungie.next beta stripping that all away, the ugly veil of highly debatable internet discussion topics have dripped into our walls. I am not here to complain, I am not here to give an opinion on what Bungie's stance, or your stance should be on these matters. I am merely here to see what all the members of the Community feel about these threads. Do you think they're actually meant for true discussion? Reply whoring? Sticking it to the man? What is your approach to these threads: mute, hide, follow, like, dislike, reply, comment, avoid? Personally, I don't go near them and don't really feel like they ever had a place in the public domain of Bungie.net. What are your feels?

 • Pointless really. I was just in one the other day about feminism. I tried to explain my experience with feminists, and all I was met with was "You're making generalizations! Not all feminists are like that!" When I clearly stated in my posts that I knew all feminists were not like this, it's just the majority that I know are like what I described. And it went on, people trying to tell me all feminists were not like how I described. I wasn't really trying to argue. I was explaining my experiences, and then it turned into an argument. Arugment threads are annoying because they don't go anywhere. If no one is open minded enough to change their opinion, which, a lot of us are not, then arguing is pointless. And it devolves into flaming.
