Phantom Bullets. Black Hammer nerf ignores real issue

I don't understand why the Black Hammer (BH) has to be nerfed. However, If it has to be nerfed, then please don't fundamentally change it. The White Nail perk generating ammo is fundamentally what makes Black Hammer so dope. It pulls phantom bullets out of the ether and puts them into the magazine. It's friggen sweet. Apparently it's OP, but it's still friggen sweet. So, don't make it a glorified speed reloading perk, because that's stupid. Let us keep our phantom bullets. If these phantom bullets offer us too much DPS, then directly nerf the DPS itself on the phantom bullets. Change the color of the phullets (phantom+bullet=phullet) on our HUD (change the font too for color blind people, whatever) so we can know phullets are in the chamber. Then, make subsequent clips of phullets give diminishing damage returns until we reload with "real bullets" again. See a BH with magical phullets is awesome. A BH with a glorified (yet inefficient) speed reload perk is neurotic.
Currently it is the only Sniper Rifle that is more capable of ending a PvE boss faster than Ice Breaker.
The logic for the BH nerf seems to be that BH can dole out massive DPS, and theoretically infinite ammo, against PvE bosses. Therefore, Bungie thinks the BH is too powerful and must be nerfed/destroyed. However, the issue isn't that the BH is too powerful. No, the issue is there are too many bosses that are big stupid bullet sponges. Bungie insists on being the fun police in the worst ways. Yes it will Hammer the stuffing out of Spider tanks, Ogres and such. Is that really such an issue? Many people are against the BH nerf because they also like fun. The fun we're all having isn't negatively affecting any other player. We're just killing bosses faster than Bungie wants. Is the gun so OP that nerfing it outweighs the fun we have with it? Why directly relate the success of Destiny PvE to the amount of time it takes to complete activities? Bungie thinks BH allows us to kill bosses too fast, but how fast is too fast? What's the metric for determining optimum or recommended time to kill a boss? I guess 5 BHs aimed at Atheon's belly button might be among some of the fastest time to kill Atheon (5 BHs because 1 must hold relic). How fast can that theoretically be? Is there a Bungie recommended time to kill Atheon? How much faster is the theoretical 5 BHs time than the Bungie recommended time? I know I've had sessions where my team's time to kill Atheon was probably longer than the Bungie recommended time to kill Atheon. Are we gonna start getting punished for that too? Will I suddenly start losing ammo synth because my team's so incompetent? (... I guess I all ready do?! Damn you Bungie) Because we are extremely incompetent, and now I'm scared this idea might actually take hold. Why nerf the chance we have to grow into a competent team that five time hammers the belly button out of Atheon? It sounds like fun to me. Why is it so important to bungie that we take an extra 15-40 mins to be within their theoretical recommended time. Is the amount of fun we have not a good enough metric, so instead time spent playing is the metric instead? I guess fun isn't a universal metric, so that's a silly metric to posit. But still, a lot of us have fun with Black hammer, and it doesn't affect other players negatively at all. If BH doesn't sound like a good time to other players, then they don't have to use it. If they don't want me to use it, then it's a non-issue anyway because I won't be playing with them. I mean, there's no goddamn matchmaking anyway. *cough**hint* stop "fixing" things players like that don't affect other players and fix things that are broken or need fixing. *cough**hint* Toggle auto aim option*cough*hint*
