Useful tips for reaching the lighthouse
What are some useful tips and tricks for those people trying to reach the lighthouse

From my experience use a lag switch, seems to get people to the light house fastest. Most of the people you meet in normal crucible with the flawless emblem perform very badly or have a red bar connection, which makes me very suspicious. went 27-0 and 5 captures against a full fire team of flawless emblems a couple of weeks ago. But in all seriousness, sharing is caring. A team that talks and works well together will get there, may take a few attempts. Not gotten there myself yet, but not played ToO for a few weeks.

Use Overpowered weapons. Use weapon exploits that are cheap that are getting nerfed. Say it's "just your skill" not the imbalance. Profit. Play Trials for Flawless weapons. Never use them in Trials. The only weapon I have been killed by in Trials by Trials weapons is the launcher. Due to the fact that it's legendary and most scrubs are exotic Hand Cannon handicapped and can't walk without those crutches

Well for starters make sure you have a well coordinated team (obviously) communication is key, use a load out you're comfortable with , using Thorn is frowned upon, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

2 Replies1. Make sure you have a good team that constantly communicates and works well together. 2. Have some strategies set up so you don't do the same thing every time. ( Good teams will counter a working strategy ) eg. Flank left, flank right , one door each , etc. 3. Don't panic if you lose a few rounds , regroup and keep your cool. Losing your temper will likely result in losing the match. 4.Play on a Sunday or Monday night, as most of the best PvP teams play on the Saturday. (As they want to get their runs over with) 5.Use weapons that you are comfortable with & can counter the other teams weapons.eg. to counter Thorn use Red death, Use Thorn/ TLW if everyone else is using it. 6. Pick weapons that suit the map. So if it's a smaller small maybe tend to lean for shotguns, hand cannons & rocket launchers. 7. If you are losing a fire fight don't keep engaging the enemy... Pull back to cover and wait. Only take one team member on at a time.Don't be a hero. Co-ordinate with your team. 8. Equip armour that gives health back every time you pick up an orb & speeds up revive for teammates. 9. If someone on your team goes down early or is in a position to be revive easily. Get them up ASAP. Having your whole team up for longer periods will give you more chance of winning. 10. Save your super for a proper timing. Maybe use to on a heavy round if you think you are good enough to beat the team. Or use it when you are winning the match say 4-2 or 3-1 ( towards the end of the match ). Also tell your team you have your super and when you are using it. So you all don't waste your super in one round.

Be a dick. All the time. Also, When you face a team that you think you will destroy, instead of easing up, go hard and try out new strategies that you would use on a better team.
